In support of another successful HOPE VI application, TDA provided HOPE VI pre-development master planning services to the Boston Housing Authority and residents of Washington Beech to transform a troubled housing development into a new 206 unit mixed income community in the Boston"s Roslindale neighborhood. In addition to establishing physical design concepts and parameters, we also resolved issues of relocation, resident involvement, and social service delivery. The resulting community also earned LEED for Homes Gold and LEED Gold Mid-Rise status, helping to ensure long term viability.
