Farnam Courts - Phase I Mid Rise

TDA has been assisting the Housing Authority of New Haven with master planning and managing affordable housing for 20 years. This master plan in the city’s Mill River District calls for replacement of a distressed 270 unit downtown public housing facility with new off site and on site mixed income residences.

The replacement housing program consists of multiple phases. The centerpiece is the on site replacement program of 191 units, which will be implemented in phases to avoid dislocation of eligible residents. Phase I includes 90 units in 2 mid-rise new construction structures, replacement public housing with ground floor retail.
